The collective of the Basic Business Unit Concrete and Terrazzo, UEB, in the Avilanian municipality of Morón, sent a shipment of 50 tonnes of mortar destined for the victims of Hurricane Melissa in the province of Santiago de Cuba.

This material is composed of a mixture of cement and clay of excellent quality and is used in diverse activities for the construction and repair of housing.

This shipment was produced in the Morón construction entity in record time, thanks to the dedication, consecration and responsibility of management and workers, who worked with their backs to the clock.

According to details from the management of the UEB Concrete and Terrazzo, also destined for those affected in the Hero City by the meteorological phenomenon, work is underway on the completion of another shipment, amounting to 200 tonnes of mortar. (Author: Yhosvany Jimenez Hdez)
