US congressmen acknowledged that Cuba’s inclusion on the list of state sponsors of terrorism is arbitrary, the island’s Foreign Ministry revealed today.

According to the notification, 46 legislators sent a letter to the US president, Joe Biden, in which they state that it is unfair to place Cuba in this classification, for the simple fact of fulfilling its commitments as a guarantor of the peace process in Colombia.

The Foreign Ministry attaches the letter from the congressmen to the post, which is also addressed to the US Secretary of State, Antony Blinken.
