Harmony in its social composition can be seen in the group of Avilanians nominated to submit to the vote of the population in order to integrate the Cuban parliament.

Of the 470 candidates for deputies in the X Legislature of the National Assembly of Popular Power of Cuba, 23 are proposed by the province of Ciego de Ávila.

Of them, 12 are women and 11 are men, and all are university graduates in different professions.

In the age range, there are two women and two men between 18 and 35 years old and from 36 to 60 there are 10 females and 9 partners.

The candidates for deputies from the province of Ciego de Ávila come from different sectors: four of the Local Bodies of People’s Power, the same number are managers.

Four also come from Culture, three from Education, three from business, one is a cooperative member, one from the Health sector and the rest come from other occupations.

The candidates for deputies representing the province of Ciego de Ávila have frequent links with the voters in their visits to factories, schools, health centers, communities and every corner of the territory, to make themselves known and, at the same time, verify the economic and current social.
