More than a thousand infants from Ciego de Ávila filled with colors and joy the educational institutions of the province this October 20, during the change of pioneer attribute, reason to continue being the first ones in the study, in dreaming and in making history.
In honor of the Cuban Culture Day and the Camilo-Che Day, a ceremony was held in which teachers and family members tied the knotted scarf to first and fourth grade students of elementary schools and Special Education.
On this occasion, some students were wearing for the first time the blue school attribute that identifies them with the category of Moncadistas, while others changed it for the red one, which marks the beginning of greater responsibilities in the detachments and collectives.
The change of the pioneer attribute in Ciego de Avila was a solemn moment of patriotic reaffirmation and great color, in which the youngest pronounced the slogan «Por la ruta de Martí y la guía de Fidel, por la Patria y el Socialismo: Moncadistas siempre listos!» and raised their right hands to ratify their commitment to be like Che, while in their left hands they clutched flowers for the heroes of the Homeland.
