According to the Special Warning No. 1, of the Forecast Centre of the Institute of Meteorology, on the advance of a cold front, which will move rapidly over the west and centre of the country in the next 24 to 48 hours, the most significant will be the showers, rains and thunderstorms that will begin to affect the western and central regions, from this afternoon, evening and early Tuesday morning, with the possibility of extending to the eastern region.

The Management Bodies should be attentive to the next information issued by the Institute of Meteorology, so the necessary measures to carry out the protection of the population and the means of the economy that are in areas at risk of flooding should be specified.

The population is advised to keep informed through the media, official profiles on social networks and to comply with the instructions given by the local authorities in a disciplined manner.

The National General Staff of the Civil Defence, as well as the Meteorological and National Water Resources Institutes, are keeping an eye on the hydrometeorological situation.
