A representation of health professionals from Ciego de Ávila participates in the Curmeric National Workshop, which is being held at the Habana Libre Hotel in the Cuban capital.

Curmeric is a natural product with proven antibacterial action, which has begun to be administered to suspected patients and contacts of COVID-19 positive cases in the five health areas of the city of Ciego de Ávila.

In addition, its experimental use was planned in the municipalities of Florencia, Chambas and Ciro Redondo, so that medical professionals in the province gained a lot of experience in its handling, application and efficacy.

The novel drug Curmeric is used orally and nasally to prevent the serious state that COVID-19 can cause.

The province of Ciego de Ávila was recognized with the presentation of a diploma for its valuable contribution in the application of the natural product Curmeric in the most difficult stage of the pandemic’s transit through Cuba.
