The Ciego de Ávila Electricity Company has just renewed its fleet of vehicles to optimise service to the province’s electricity networks.
The new specialised vehicles have been equipped with the technical means necessary to carry out repairs to power lines and electrical installations, work that is carried out 24 hours a day, in cities and rural areas, both in the residential sector and in the state of Avila.
Workers in this sector also use these vehicles to respond to any contingency or breakdown in the networks caused by meteorological phenomena in the affected provinces and contribute to re-establishing service in the shortest possible time.
Despite the known difficulties and the economic siege that Cuba is suffering, the authorities are seeking solutions and favouring the means to maintain the national electricity system.
