For the Sindicato de Trabajadores de la Cultura, the Empresa Comercializadora de la Música y los Espectáculos (Musicávila) and the Sucursal de Promociones Artísticas y Literarias (Artex) revalidated their VN titles.
The Provincial Committee of the Union of Writers and Artists of Cuba, the newspaper Invasor, the Wood Carving section, and the projects Justo a la Moda, Cuenta Conmigo and Manos Mágicas received the Distinguished National Award.
Ferrer Castillo mentioned the visit to the home for children without family protection, the tribute to the combatants of Playa Girón, exhibitions, sports meetings and the provincial workshop on the history of the trade union movement, among other activities included in the programme until 29 May.
The initiatives of the festival of the working class stimulate us to continue promoting the process of the XXII Congress of our organisation and to contribute more in the strategic battles of the provincial emulation for the 26th of July, stressed the trade unionist.
As strategic fronts in Ciego de Avila to emulate for the Day of National Rebellion on 26 July are the improvement of the revolutionary ideology, for life, the people’s food, the quality of services, the recovery of the economy and energy development.
And precisely in this battle, the CTC of Avila won the status of an outstanding organisation in the province’s efforts to host the national event for the 72nd anniversary of the attack on the Moncada and Carlos Manuel de Céspedes barracks.
