The 44th anniversary of the founding of the Rayitos de Sol Children’s Circus was celebrated at the San Carlos Theatre in the municipality of Morón, with a cultural show.

The Municipal Assembly of People’s Power and the Directorate of Culture presented Juan Alberto Iglesias with an award for the contribution of this initiative in the formation of values and community work.

The occasion was also an opportunity for various organisations and institutions to encourage this project, dedicated to healthy recreation and the training of artists from an early age.

The Rayitos de Sol Children’s Circus was founded on 19 May 1981 under the name of Alegría Pioneril and later in 1988 it adopted its current name, always under the wise leadership of Juan Alberto Iglesias.
