The sugar cane producing and transporting units located in the Avilanian municipality of Morón have begun the preparation for the 2025-2026 Sugar Harvest.

At the El Vaquerito and Enrique Varona Cooperative Production Cooperatives, as well as at the El Uno de Patria and Saladrigas Basic Units of Cooperative Production, work is underway on the repair of the combine harvesters that will participate in the forthcoming campaign.

Also at these entities, work is being done on the conditioning of tractors, lorries, carts and other vehicles and accessories, to ensure the minimum conditions during the cutting and transport of cane from the fields to the industry.

For its part, the collective of the Transport and Mechanisation Enterprise, TRANSMEC, is also carrying out various actions on the KAMAZ and SINOTRUK lorries, as well as on the trailers destined for the transportation of the gramineous crop.

This stage of preparation of the equipment that will participate in the 2025-2026 Sugar Campaign is marked by the work of innovators and rationalisers, essential amidst the difficult economic situation the country is undergoing. (Author: Yhosvany Jimenez Hdez)
