The Benito Juárez secondary school in Morón is hosting a municipal awareness campaign against drugs from today, which will extend to other educational centres in the territory to protect the most vulnerable sectors of society.

Until 24 June, students, teachers, parents and specialists from the Municipal Prosecutor’s Office and the General Health Directorate will take part in talks and activities, with other schools in the municipality also participating.

The initiative uses graphic material, real testimonies and allegorical drawings to raise awareness among adolescents and young people, who, in their stage of identity formation, are particularly prone to addictions.

With prevention and support as indispensable tools, the organisers invite students to reflect: every conscious decision is a firm step towards a future free from dependencies.
