Strategic Defence Exercises have begun in Morón, a deployment of military and popular preparedness aimed at strengthening the territory’s response capacity against any enemy aggression and safeguarding national sovereignty.

Workers from all bodies and entities in the municipality are massively joining this mobilisation, advised by officers from the Military Region and with the direct support of the Party and Government in each planned action.

The exercises extend over two days through streets, workplaces, communities and defence zones across Morón, in the province of Ciego de Ávila, where drills, reserve activation and territorial deployments are being carried out.

The preparation will culminate after these two days with a popular rally in support of the Revolution, demonstrating that the unity of the people, their organisation and their defence awareness constitute the best trench against any threat to the Homeland.
