Avilanian sugar mills work for a greater impact on their economic management

Although the current phase began with irregularities in the manufacturing process, the workers of the Ecuador Refinery Business Unit of the municipality of Baraguá in Ciego de Ávila, work intensely to reverse delays and achieve a greater impact on their economic management.

Iván Jiménez Darias, Director of the entity, specified that together with the effort to fulfill the commitments in the manufacture of sweet grain, they also interact in the commercialization of cane derivatives.

Among them, he mentioned the almost 500 tons of molasses sold, of which 60 percent of the plan is contributed to the State, as well as the syrup that leaves substantial income for a value of 40,000 pesos per ton, operations that are carried out interact with companies such as those of canned products, Diary Compay, EMBER, MIPYMES and Local Development Projects.

The manager added that among the immediate challenges is to achieve the refined sugar plan aimed at the consumption of the basic basket, while the forces of the Ecuador mill will establish the sale of some 65 tons of crude to the MERCABAR Company, a client that at a price differentiated pays 54 thousand pesos per ton.
