The good news about the emulation of the Cuban trade union movement is beginning to circulate on the social networks, just as the call for the celebration of May Day, International Working Class Day, is being read out in the workplaces.

In the last few hours, the Provincial Bureau of the Union of Cultural Workers in Ciego de Avila, announced the ratification of the category of National Vanguard by the collectives of the Branch of Artistic and Literary Promotions (Artex) and the Music and Entertainment Marketing Company (Musicávila).

The Invasor newspaper, the Provincial Committee of the Union of Writers and Artists of Cuba (Uneac), the Wood Carving section, and the projects Justo a la Moda, Cuenta Conmigo and Manos Mágicas were awarded National Distinguished status.

At the provincial level, the following were highlighted: the Performing Arts Council, the Municipal Directorates of Culture of Ciro Redondo and Morón, the Provincial Museum of History, the Directorate of Cultural Heritage, the Cuban Fund for Cultural Assets, the House of Culture in Morón and the Propaganda and Events Unit.
