Avilanian collaborators recognize the impact of medical missions around the world

On the occasion of this May 23, the 60th anniversary of the start in Cuba of medical support to other nations of the world, a group of health professionals from Ciego de Avila recognized the altruism that this represents and the prestige that they give to the health sector.

This was stated by Dr. Orlando Páez Cabrera when collecting beautiful stories of his missions to countries in Latin America and Africa, whose services left a mat of love and gratitude in the less favored social classes.

Efrén Garcia Hernández, a gynecologist with vast experience who still remembers his stay in Cape Verde, spoke to us with the same prism, as well as Dayamali Acosta Lapera, who wrote a diary of passions during the medical care he provided in countries of the dark continent and the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela.

Likewise, from this nation, via the Internet, the young doctor Andy Garcia Pedroso, graduated in physiatry, said he felt happy as a continuator of a work that gives them a higher professional level and enriches them in the formation of values.
