With their own actions that contribute to improve the conditions of the workers, in the central province of Ciego de Ávila, multiple centers are getting ready to develop from November 1st to 30th the National Time of Safety and Health at Work in Cuba.

The executives of the workers’ movement in the territory said that the Construction Materials Company is finalizing the details to carry out the National act of the beginning of the events, an entity with effective results in the prevention of accidents.

On the other hand, Dayami Au Echemendía, General Secretary of the Public Administration Union in Ciego de Ávila, said that the INTERMAR collective is the unit selected for the opening of the program in the sector, and that they have a high responsibility in the services offered by the organization.

Other entities and companies linked to the sugar, food and hydro-mechanical agro-industries are committed to redouble their efforts to enforce in practice the full compliance of measures that lead to strengthen the norms of Occupational Safety and Health in Ciego de Ávila.
