As part of the actions planned in the province of Ciego de Avila aimed at promoting and diversifying production, the highest authorities of the Party and the Government in the territory visited the Morón Fish Farming Centre last Sunday.
This production facility is currently reporting a marked recovery, with an increase in broodstock and the incorporation of new specimens such as Red Tilapia, Mura and Trout.
The tour was attended, among other leaders, by Julio Gómez Casanova, First Secretary of the Provincial Committee of the Party and Alfred Menéndez Pérez, Governor in Ciego de Ávila, as well as Benito Martínez Ausina, top political leader in Morón.
The delegation, which this Sunday visited other production centres in the territory of Avila, confirmed that the Morón Fish Farming Centre is showing a favourable recovery, as a result of the response of the workers to the call to increase food production for the population.
