With the aim of exchanging knowledge and experiences, the Association of Cuban Pedagogues, APC, of the General Directorate of Education in Ciego de Ávila, deploys a set of activities to greet the Educator’s Day.
Mavis Pérez Pino, President of the APC group said that as every year the organization formalizes a set of activities aimed at recognizing the teaching work of associates and teachers in general.
Pérez Pino said that among the planned activities are the contest «My Best Distinction», generational exchanges with an educator family of the Education Directorate, a meeting with a prominent pedagogue about Fidel’s imprint in the educational sector, as well as exchanges of experiences with other APC groups.
When Educator’s Day is celebrated this December 22, the date on which Fidel declared Cuba an Illiteracy Free Territory will be remembered, and all the results achieved are the fruit of the work of educators at all levels of education.
