Esteban Lazo Hernández, member of the Politburo and president of the National Assembly of People’s Power (ANPP), headed this last weekend the virtual working meeting with presidents of the municipal assemblies of People’s Power, dedicated to examining the implementation of the economic and social transformations.
As specified by Canal Caribe of Cuban Television in its flagship broadcast and by the ANPP itself on its social media, the meeting evaluated the 23 thematic axes and the 176 measures approved by Parliament, aimed at modernising the business fabric, diversifying management forms and stimulating productivity in the territories.
Guidelines were also given for the preparation of the 2027 Plan and Budget, with emphasis on financial discipline and efficiency in the use of resources, and the preparation of activities for the 50th anniversary of the constitution of the municipal bodies of People’s Power was reviewed, which will include political, cultural and community events.
