The Provincial Council of Scientific Societies of Ciego de Ávila announces the XLVI Annual Health Award 2023.

Professionals, technicians and students who work and research in the field of human health, residing in the Avilanian territory, may participate.

The categories to compete are book, scientific article, scientific theory, basic research, applied research, technological innovation, updating work, scientific work in Medical Education, and research on Health systems and services.

In addition, this year’s Annual Health Award may be chosen in the special categories of master’s thesis, doctoral thesis and specialty completion work.

These works are required to be carried out between January 1 and December 31, 2022.

The deadline for registration of the texts that will be contested will be until May 5, at the Health Information Center, on Thursdays from 8:20 a.m. to 12 noon.

The Annual Health Award Contest is the most important recognition granted by the Ministry of Public Health each year to professionals with relevant results in research related to medical sciences.
