A special gift from the children of the city of Morón, Avila, for the 171st anniversary of the birth of the National Hero, was the celebration of the Golden Age Children’s Theater Festival at the Haydé Santamaría Culture House in Morón.

A parade of varied performances, including plays, choirs, declamations and circus acts, rocked the tables of this theater hall, which put a jury in charge of selecting the most outstanding ones in a complex situation.

The Grand Prize of this annual contest went to the Children’s Theater Company Juglaritos de Ensueños, with the play La Ratoncita (The Little Mouse), which also won First Place.

Second place went to Variedades Circenses Contorsiones La Princesita, from Circo Rayitos de Sol.

Third place was shared by a number of Acrobacia de Fuerza from Circo Rayitos de Sol and Juglaritos de Ensueños (Written by Leonel Iparraguirre González).
