According to the Environmental Strategy for the period 2021-2025, the outlook for the Avileño municipality of Morón should be characterised by the strengthening of local management, the impact of the activity of new forms of economic management on the environment, as well as the completion of environmental planning.

The document also describes the improvement of the investment process through the enactment of new legal provisions and the efficient use of renewable and non-renewable natural resources.

Other provisions in this strategy are related to the political will to confront illegalities and social indiscipline with an impact on the environment and the application of adaptation measures and the introduction of mitigation actions in correspondence with the dangers, degree of vulnerability and risks to which the territory is subjected.

The Municipal Environmental Strategy is the result of a planning exercise carried out by the Centre for Capacity Building of the Ministry of Science, Technology and Environment, CITMA, in Morón, based on the identification of achievements and limitations of previous strategic cycles and the experiences gained from their implementation.
