The Empresa de Acueducto y Alcantarillado de Ciego de Ávila is currently working to replace the plumbing in multi-family buildings in Reparto Ortiz, in the provincial capital.

The pipes and hydraulic elements in this area were seriously damaged and affected 64 flats and houses in neighbouring areas, which were affected by the penetration of sewage water into their homes, creating a complex and unpleasant hygienic situation.

In order to solve this problem, the aqueduct brigade of the capital city of Avila was entrusted with the complex work, which it undertook tirelessly, aware of the need to improve the quality of life of the local residents.

Despite the difficult economic situation facing the country, the necessary resources are being allocated to replace the damaged section of pipe with a new one, in order to leave the water connection in optimum condition and satisfy the demands of the affected population.
