My Ticket is a tool that has been integrated in recent updates into the Transfermóvil platform developed by the Telecommunications Company of Cuba S.A (Etecsa), which seeks to facilitate different procedures that people carry out daily.
In an exclusive interview for the Cuban News Agency, Julio Antonio García Trápaga, director of Digital Product Development and Support at Etecsa, indicated that this new service, which is accessed through the My Transfer wallet, allows users to easily purchase tickets for various services.
He specified that this new option presents a very broad area of functionalities, because through its use one could reserve day passes, excursions, museum visits and transport.
The specialist highlighted that this service is presented as a control mechanism, because the ticket that the client acquires for the reservation will be cancelled after the service is completed, so the same ticket cannot be used again.
García Trápaga underlined that this idea has been implemented for about two months and it is expected that next year its process of evaluation and acceptance by the users will continue.
This and other solutions in development are what Etecsa has presented at the Ibero-American Congress for Exchange and Updating in Science and Technology Management (Ibergecyt 2025) and the Havana Innovation Fair, events that are taking place at the Havana Convention Palace until tomorrow Friday.
