In order to maintain the denunciation against the growing threats from the United States government towards the Venezuelan people, the Embassy of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela in Cuba is holding a solidarity meeting today in this capital.

The event exposes the political, media, and economic character of the imperialist aggression, which has among its interests, according to those present, appropriating the natural resources possessed by the South American country.

The meeting becomes a condemnation of accusations made by the North American government, which constructs its narrative on alleged drug trafficking activities in the Bolivarian nation.

With this action, Venezuela reaffirms its commitment to peace in Latin America and the Caribbean and ratifies that the struggle for the sovereignty of the peoples is fundamental for regional stability.

Participating in the meeting are Orlando Maneiro Gaspar, Venezuelan ambassador, part of the diplomatic corps accompanying him, and representatives from different social movements.
