The artistic group Vitral Daluz, recognised for its mastery in the conservation of stained-glass window heritage, is taking on the important challenge of restoring the stained-glass windows of the railway terminal in the city of Morón, a facility which is currently the subject of a capital repair.
With the purpose of guaranteeing maximum precision and a culture of detail the different pieces were transferred to related workshops in Camagüey, where specialists are carrying out meticulous work to leave them just as they were in their beginnings.
The team combines modern technology with ancestral knowledge to return all the splendour to the beautiful stained-glass windows, which have always distinguished the facility of the Ministry of Transport.
These works plus the rest, guarantee the gradual recovery of the terminal, a longed-for dream of the people of Morón that is little by little becoming a reality. (Author: Ricardo Varona Yedra)
