Diverse activities saluting the 65th anniversary of the Federation of Cuban Women (FMC) are being developed by blocks and delegations in the Avilanian municipality of Morón, where females with outstanding attitudes in performing the most dissimilar tasks – both socio-economic and those specific to the organisation – are recognised.
Events highlighting creative women and photographic exhibitions paying tribute to Vilma Espín and Fidel, promoters of the FMC whose legacies serve as incentives under current conditions, stand out.
For the organisation’s 65th anniversary, exchanges with elderly people, workshops against violence in neighbourhoods and communities, and interviews with women to learn their life stories are being conducted.
Likewise, in workplaces, federated women receive recognition from their colleagues, validated by the commitment of the female force serving the Revolution.
