A fashion show to premiere the Tribute to Mondrian collection will be presented today, Friday, at the Gran Muthu Rainbow Hotel in Cayo Guillermo.

The runway show will feature pieces by designer Frank Pérez Perdomo, creator of the Guayza group, a renowned group from Ciego de Ávila, whose creations have transcended the Cuban border.

The colorful and elegant pieces are inspired by the work of Dutch painter Piet Mondrian, who believed that «art should be represented through straight lines and pure colors».

Frank Guayza’s designs, as the Avilanian defines himself, are striking clothes, ranging from loose to tight, from simple to glamorous, with a touch of Cuban identity as a general identifier for all the models in the Tribute to Mondrian collection.
