The Spanish hotel chain Iberostar today reiterated its commitment to Cuban tourism and confirmed plans demonstrating this strategy.
On this occasion, Iberostar Cuba Hotels & Resorts announced the expansion of its portfolio. In line with a strategic vision increasingly prioritising urban segments, one-fifth of the chain’s rooms are now located within city environments of Havana and Trinidad.
They indicated that three of its hotels are situated near the historic centre of Old Havana, declared alongside its fortification system a UNESCO World Heritage site in 1982.
From their terraces, guests may admire the extensive and diverse architectural and cultural repertoire of the great metropolis.
Flanking the Paseo del Prado is the Iberostar Grand Packard, epitomising respect for tradition and modern vocation through a superior accommodation experience.
Meanwhile, the Iberostar Selection Parque Central, and the Iberostar Marqués de la Torre – formerly the modern tower of the Selection Parque Central and now an independent hotel – complement the capital’s rhythms.
In central-southern Cuba, the town of Trinidad – third settlement founded in Cuba by adelantado Diego Velázquez in 1514 – dazzles travellers with its palaces.
It is a city with distinct character which adventurous visitors may discover through stays at the Iberostar Grand Trinidad, a 40-room jewel offering premium services, located directly opposite the town’s Céspedes Park.
They subsequently highlight the portfolio’s new star: Iberostar Selection La Habana. Rising 155 metres across 42 floors, it embodies the welcoming spirit of a metropolis where diverse styles, sensations, and rhythms coexist. Precisely on 23rd Street – Havana’s quintessential cinematic thoroughfare – the city now boasts a hotel of commensurate stature, Iberostar emphasises.
They note that three Havana hotels feature executive areas where guests enjoy superior accommodation levels. These include the Cosmos Level with 61 rooms at Iberostar Grand Packard, the Capitol Level with 90 rooms at Iberostar Selection Parque Central, and the Elite Sky Level featuring 140 rooms across floors 33-40 of Iberostar Selection Parque Central.
The message reiterates that Iberostar Cuba Hotels & Resorts is a leading hotel chain promoting responsible tourism centred on people and environmental stewardship.
It operates 20 four- and five-star hotels across Cuba’s principal tourist destinations. The portfolio comprises five Havana city-centre properties and fourteen beachfront locations in Varadero, Cayo Cruz, Cayo Ensenachos, Cayo Guillermo and Holguín.
The notice concludes by stating guests may immerse themselves in Trinidad’s history and traditions, while enjoying all-inclusive holidays with family, partners or friends.
