The National Meeting of the Speciality of Criminal Proceedings concluded in Ciego de Ávila with the analysis of the main deficiencies in the control of the investigation and the particularities of the instruction to charge legal persons.
Members of the General Prosecutor’s Office of the Republic of Cuba, together with professionals of this speciality from all the provinces of the country, discussed in depth, among other topics, the crime of tax evasion and the main features of its commission.
At the meeting, Beatriz de la Peña La O, Chief Prosecutor of the Department of the Directorate of Criminal Proceedings, emphasised the current challenges in the fight against drugs in Cuba at the gates of a national observatory.

The meeting contributed to the strengthening of criminal proceedings based on collective construction and multiple perspectives from the contemporary context, said María Victoria Sifontes Ayup, Chief Provincial Prosecutor.
The occasion was the occasion for the presentation of the official photo of the National Meeting of the Specialty of Criminal Prosecutions held in Ciego de Avila, to Yamila Peña Ojeda, Attorney General of the Republic, and to the participants in the meeting.
