Ciego de Avila’s sport was present this May Day, in the Máximo Gómez Báez Square of this provincial capital, where, together with the rest of the sectors of the working people, it celebrated the World Proletariat Day.

Grouped in the union of education, science and sport, directors of Inder, coaches, health personnel, Glorias del Deporte and athletes gathered to defend the project that allows them to grow and develop as social beings.

Among the reasons for participating in the parade was also to support the country’s leadership, at a time when Cuba is under siege by the claws of the biggest empire in the world.

The twenty-fifth anniversary of the concept of Revolution, pronounced by the Commander in Chief Fidel Castro also summoned the Avila sports union to parade this May 1st, where it was reaffirmed once again that For Cuba Together We Create.
