Cuba finally overtook Chile on the last day of competition and anchored in seventh place of the games with a haul of 19 gold medals, 13 silver and 15 Bronze for a total of 47 medals.
The Asunción 2025 summary showed the worth of the Cuban athletes although it reflects a significant decline compared to previous performances and evidences the challenges faced today by Antillean sport; the planned objectives were met among them evaluating the sports reserve for future international events that will require the greatest possible preparation. It satisfies us to see how our athletes competed with the conviction of victories and sporting pride.
