The member of the national Baseball Five team, Arianna La O Olivet, was received at the Marina Samuel Noble School of Sports Initiation in Ciego de Ávila, after achieving the gold medal in the second World Cup of the young athletic modality.

Attending the welcome ceremony were family members, students, teachers, the Management Council, together with her coach and the senior authorities of the sports sector in the province.

Visibly emotional, the talented athlete expressed to the audience her experiences at the event held in Nayarit, Mexico and commented that this gold medal is the fruit of teamwork and individual preparation.

The female Golden Glove of the national youth tournament, likewise, thanked all those who have influenced her sporting development, especially her family.

At the Mexican event, our girl, together with the members of the Cuban team for the discipline, retained the crown achieved in Ankara 2023, as well as the ticket to the Dakar Youth Olympic Games next year.
