The supply of water in cities and communities is one of the priorities of society due to the need for this precious liquid in most of the activities.

But material factors prevent the supply from being made efficiently necessary to meet the needs in homes, industries, agricultural and general work.

To improve this situation, the Aqueduct and Sewerage Company in Ciego de Ávila announced to the Cuban News Agency (ACN), which gives priority to change the energy matrix in 92 pumping stations in the 10 municipalities.

Have solar panels that feed the operation of said pumping, ensures its work in times of scarcity of fossil fuel, which in turn, will have significant savings in this activity. Significant financing allows these days to bring water to rural communities of the Avilanian territory, which is also labor prioritized and meets the demands of the population of those places.

The Aqueduct and Sewerage Company in Ciego de Ávila also projected for this semester that begins the installation of more than 5,200 meter meters for the collection of water according to consumption, both in the private and state sectors and this work will help finance the service and stimulate savings.

Repairing distribution networks is essential in the effort to save, in addition to facilitating, with more affordable prices, the fittings and hydraulic components to fix breaks in homes and working centers.

Water is a precious natural resource and deserves every effort to the authorities to take it to the population and this, in turn, regulate and optimize your consumption.
