The National Award for Dignity, which for the only time was granted by the Association of Pedagogues of Cuba in the year 2023, was given in the last hours to the outstanding educators Magaly Domínguez Pedroso and Ileana Menéndez, both members of the executive of the Morón branch of the Association.

Earlier, university professor and outstanding researcher Nismel Crespo O’Relly also received the award.

Among the requirements to obtain the Dignity Award are: to be a member of the Association; to have an excellent participation in political, social and scientific processes and to have obtained satisfactory results in the sector with evidence to prove it.

A total of four outstanding educators from the province of Ciego de Avila received this award, three of them from the municipality of Morón (Written by Leonel Iparraguirre González).
