UNE forecasts 1,460 MW of power supply during Thursday’s night-time peak.

The Electrical Union estimates an availability of 1 830 MW and a demand of 3 220 MW for Thursday’s night-time peak, so it forecasts that the service could be affected by 1 460 MW.

At 7 a.m., availability was 1 710 MW, with a demand of 2 200 MW, resulting in an impact of 397 MW. By midday, an outage of 980 MW is expected.

From 5:32 a.m. onwards, new effects due to high transfers were reported.

During peak hours, Renté 6 (60 MW) and four engines in Moa (60 MW) are expected to be affected.

The units at Santa Cruz, Renté and Felton have breakdowns.

The units at Santa Cruz, Cienfuegos and Renté are under maintenance.

Felton unit 1 will be out of service this Thursday for 10 days.

Thermal limitations are 326 MW.

Power plants out for fuel: 271 MW.

Yesterday, electricity service was affected from 4:45 a.m. to 11:48 p.m., with a maximum of 1 435 MW affected at 6:40 p.m. in the central-eastern zone.
