The portal of the Casa de la Cultura Haydée Santamaría Cuadrado in the Avileño municipality of Morón hosted the fixed space «Trovarte», an activity to promote culture in the territory.

The event featured soloists Lien Piloto, José Carlos «El Príncipe de Chambas», Rodny Morales, the young Septeto Fénix, the Cojunto Trova Tenaz, the Proyecto Voces Nuevas, and the Proyecto de Danza «Giselle».

With this event, which takes place on the second Friday of every month, the «Los Hermanos Feliú» Trova Festival is consolidated, an event that is very popular in Morón. On this occasion, the activity was linked to the promotion of the Taller de la Clase de Casino and the departments of literature, theatre, dance and visual arts of the cultural institution.

The realisation of «Trovarte» proves that in the city of the rooster, Cuban culture and music are defended in their entirety.

The Casa de la Cultura in this municipality and the Dirección Municipal de Cultura are working to expand the cultural offerings for the enjoyment of different audiences, with an emphasis on the weekends. (Author Alejandro Cosme Quiñones)
