A practical training for teachers and educational system methodologists began at the «Benito Llanes Recino» Municipal University Centre. The training, entitled «Introduction of Developmental Learning Strategies,» aims to transform the teaching of History and Local History — even in early childhood — through innovative and personalised exercises.
The course responds to two high-impact provincial projects: one directed by Dr. C. Ramón Vidal Pla López, Provincial CITMA Award winner, and another coordinated by Dr. C. Norberto Roche. Additionally, it establishes alliances with cultural institutions, UNEAC, CIERIC and the Provincial Culture Directorate, demonstrating that education and culture go hand in hand.
During the first session, taking advantage of the date of 8 June (Jurist’s Day), participants created an exercise using phrases from Ignacio Agramonte and José Martí. The practice took place at the Sergio Antuña Municipal Library, and thanks were given to its management and staff for hosting the event. The evaluation included self-assessment, peer assessment and educational feedback.
The training professor, Dr. C. Yamila Tomasa Ferrá Gómez, congratulated the participants on their resilience and hope. Methodological support from the Directorate of the Morón Municipal University Centre was also recognised, as was a phone call from Dr. Ramón Vidal Pla López at the end of the first session, who spoke directly with the attendees.
