Due to the results of the previous stage, the municipality of Ciego de Avila deserved to host the provincial ceremony for the beginning of the 2024-2025 school year, which will take place on September 2nd.

Bismark Salaber Varela, general director of Education in the municipality of Avila, informed that the activity will take place at the Augusto César Sandino primary school, an institution that has undergone repairs and maintenance.

He affirmed that the construction work carried out in this centre by workers of the Empresa de Aseguramiento y Servicios a la Educación (Epase) will offer teachers and students better living conditions, and therefore, will contribute to the good quality of the teaching-learning process.

Despite the difficult economic and energy situation in Cuba, 97 educational institutions in the municipality of Ciego de Avila will open their doors to 24,133 students at different educational levels to continue exploring the paths of knowledge.
