The Central de Trabajadores de Cuba (CTC) in the municipality of Chambas is carrying out a series of activities on the occasion of July 26th, National Rebellion Day.

Among the actions planned are voluntary work related to food production, as well as cleaning and beautification of workplaces. This not only contributes to the improvement of workplaces, but also maintains proper hygiene in the midst of a complex epidemiological scenario.

According to Eliannis González Valdivia, organiser of the CTC in this territory in the north of Avila, special mornings are held in which reference is made to the history related to the Moncada heroic deed. These moments of reflection allow the workers to remember the importance of this date for the revolutionary struggle.

In addition, in coordination with the municipal government, trips to the beach will take place on Thursdays and Fridays of each week, with the aim of stimulating the members of the outstanding union sections during the holiday period.

Finally, González Valdivia highlighted the recent participation of CTC members in Chambas in the municipal event on the occasion of 26 July.
