The Máximo Gómez Báez University in Ciego de Ávila sent a message of thanks to the Russian Embassy in Cuba for its unconditional support in teaching the Russian language to the children of the Ñico López primary school in the provincial capital.

The objective of this exchange is to enrich the learning of the Russian language of the students of Avila and to strengthen the ties of friendship and culture between the two nations.

It is remarkable the dedication of the teachers in teaching the classes and the participation of the students in the teaching activities, which is a testimony of the positive impact that the knowledge of the Russian language has for the integral formation of the young people.

«Together, we continue to promote understanding and friendship through education, thank you all for your commitment,» said Yurisbel Gallardo Ballat, Rector of the University of Ciego de Avila.
