In the 912 polling stations of Ciego de Ávila, the dynamic test was successfully carried out this Sunday, March 19, where the logistical assurance and the capacity of the human resources that will intervene in the national elections on the 26th were verified.
Osvaldo Álvarez Díaz, president of the Provincial Electoral Council, announced that during the exercise special attention was paid to the two Districts created in the Avilanian territory, structures that will allow greater organization and agility in the processing of information.
During the day, a practical activity was carried out from the school to the national level that simulated a real vote, where the main incidents were in the towns of Morón and Ciego de Ávila, which were aimed at solving them immediately.
In the test, the automated systems were activated in order to determine their efficiency and functionality, in addition to checking communications by telephone and email, conditions of the premises, transport and food.
The top leader of the Provincial Electoral Council assured that Ciego de Ávila is in favorable conditions for the elections on March 26, in which the deputies who will integrate the X Legislature of the National Assembly of People’s Power will be elected for five years.
