The Avilanian Sharks secured a resounding 4-0 victory over Las Tunas at the Sergio Alonso Grandal Sports Complex in Morón, qualifying for the play-offs of the 108th National Football League’s Closing Tournament.

The Ciego de Ávila squad launched an early onslaught at their Ciudad del Gallo stronghold. Greiber Palma opened the scoring in the 14th minute, with Fabián Campbell extending the lead during first-half stoppage time (45+2).

After the interval, the Avilanian side again dominated, with Dairon Pérez netting in the 70th minute before Randy Álvarez sealed the fixture in the 90th minute.

In Group C’s other fixture, Camagüey’s Miuras claimed three uncontested points after Espíritus Santo failed to appear at Camagüey’s Amador Fernández ground.

This result elevates the Avilanian Sharks to 20 points – now mathematically unreachable by Agramonte in second place – setting up a two-legged play-off against Santiago de Cuba’s Red Devils.
