With the start of the 2025-2026 school year, university students receive the benefit of the mobile telephony Sectoral Plan established by ETECSA this year.

To make this granting effective, workers from the Telecommunications Company of the province travelled to the headquarters of the Máximo Gómez Báez University, of Ciego de Ávila, to guarantee the process of updating the ownership of the mobile services of the students.

New entry pupils and continuing ones from all degree courses have guaranteed access to information through this ETECSA Sectoral Plan for mobile telephony.

The Avilanian university undertakes a new school year with the endeavour to optimise its study plans and contribute highly qualified professionals to the scientific and social development of the territory.
