The second photovoltaic solar park is inaugurated in Ciego de Avila, with the presence of the Commander of the Revolution, Ramiro Valdés Menéndez, Cuban Vice Prime Minister and Vicente de La O Levy, Minister of Energy and Mines and the highest authorities of the PCC and the Government in the province.

This renewable energy generation centre «Carolina» is located in the municipality  of Venezuela, in the south of the territory and will produce 21.8 Megawatts.

During the inauguration ceremony, workers and companies involved in the construction and assembly of this centre were honoured.
