Workers of the Based Business Unit for Roads and Bridges in Ciego de Ávila work continuously with the aim of eliminating deficiencies and guaranteeing security in the trains movement.
This was announced to this station by Orelvis Ramírez Rojas, director of that entity, who added that they carry out several maintenance actions in a section of the central line, between kilometers 393 and 396.
The manager said that, despite the limitations of resources, the linking of several brigades of the avilanian Basic Based Business Unit was achieved.
Ramírez Rojas said that last year two rail accidents were reported, none of them attributable to the problems on the roads, which supports the work of the workers in the sector.
In this regard, he recognized the members of the Majagua, Guayacanes Brigades, Orlando González, and roads and bridges for the effort they make in the maintenance and protection of the railway lines.
