With the installation of a 2 kW solar generation kit at the Radio Amanecer Transmission Centre, the energy backup scheme that will guarantee the station’s operability during its eight hours on air has been completed.
Previously, similar technology had been installed in the master control room and the recording studio, ensuring the production, recording and broadcast of all programming.

From next Saturday 18 April, the usual transmission schedule will resume with all the programmes that the audience knows and enjoys. It should be noted that, as of today, FM 96.9 remains active, broadcasting many of its regular slots, especially news programmes, as well as some special productions of the same type, which will cover the period from 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Those with portable radios, mobile phones or other means that capture the signal autonomously, or those who have energy backup in their homes, will be able to enjoy their companion station uninterrupted during its broadcast hours.
The commitment to renewable energy sources is part of the National Energy Matrix Change Programme, which Radio Amanecer — «The Voice of the Northeast Avilanian Region» — has joined. This July, the station will reach its 25th anniversary, always committed to its community.
