Members of the provincial traffic directorate in Ciego de Avila urge drivers and pedestrians in the territory to respect and comply with the laws established on the roads in order to avoid loss of life and material damage due to this avoidable cause.

Despite all the actions taken, so far this year there has been an increase in road accidents, which requires personal responsibility on the part of drivers and pedestrians, as well as social responsibility to solve the problem.

In this sense, the people of Avila must gain in traffic culture, hence the importance of having timely information about the duties and rights of drivers and pedestrians in order to put them into practice.

Ciego de Avila is among the provinces in the country with the lowest accident rates, but this does not mean satisfaction, as long as we regret one life or one injured person as a result of these events, we will know that there is still a long way to go in terms of prevention and it is up to all of us to face this battle for road safety.
