The daily Granma today published an interview given by Cuban President Miguel Díaz-Canel to journalist and writer Ignacio Ramonet, in which the president discussed issues of national and international interest.
In the dialogue, the head of state referred, among other issues, to the domestic economic situation and the measures being implemented to deal with it, and offered details on the consequences of the intensification of the US embargo against the island.
The Cubavisión channel will broadcast it after the end of the popular Cuban soap opera programme on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays.
