Mario Martínez Noa was elected president of the Association of Combatants of the Cuban Revolution (ACRC) in the province of Ciego de Avila, during the 6th Conference of that organisation, held on Sunday.

The meeting recognised the unconditional dedication to the defence of the homeland and the outstanding performance of Rolando Maché Jaminson, who, for more than a decade, fulfilled this responsibility.

Maché Jaminson also received the recognition of the highest authorities of the province of Avila, as well as political and mass organisations.

The 6th Conference of the ACRC in Ciego de Avila was attended by Major General Ramón Pardo Guerra, Hero of the Republic of Cuba, and José Antonio Carrillo Gómez, national president of the aforementioned organisation.
